This is an evolution of my previous designs but using a very rigid frame to get rid of any possible frequency coupling, and in any case minimize levels of vibrations. The design shows a 161Hz natural frequency of arms/legs against 80Hz of excitation (for a 1.5KgAUW). This design criteria is the oposit of most ususal designs having excitation above frame resonances (and harmonics).
This waranty that any increase of payload mass up to 3000Kg+ is well covered by the frequency gap. For 3Kg AUW excitation grows up to 108Hz, still well below frame resonances. The price to pay is a bit more of frame weight and mass (not too much), but it really worth!
It has been tested with both PID and QUATOS control very succesfully.
