Reference Build: M4 with Crazyflie Mounts
The M4 with Crazyflie arms and Chaoli 0615-14 motors is the smallest AQ you can build. Flying weight can be as low as 20 grams, and its virtually indestructable with its low mass. So its a great trainer for beginners.

We recommend this Hyperion 1S 25C 240 Mah. but you can substitute with a similar size and density battery. High C ratings are recommended. |
Building it is pretty simple. The motor mounts slide onto the PCB arms and the 6mm motors pressfit inside the mounts:
From there on its just a question of connecting the motors so that motor 1 is forward left (or forward in + mode) and then follow the clockface for the remaining motors, like this:
